The Lost Ark Studio presents "Roy" by Tori - the latest single from the studio's Lost Ark Studio Compilation - Vol. 03. It's hard to describe how special Tori's talents are - a great songwriter, with a truly unique style, she is someone who commands attention on stage and in the studio, but about as easy going a person you could ever meet. We were fortunate to have her come into the studio one night to record this simply great song. With one listen we're sure you will see what we mean - and you'll likely be playing this one as often as we have!
lyrics
Roy - Tori
you can be yellow and i can be blue
you can come close to me
we can make green feel new oooo!
i am a rock and you are a rock and when we rub we spark
we spark! yes we do!
but tomorrow will never feel like yesterday
and no morrow could ever feel like now
and we are green with no way out
hopelessly
but we are forever now
or you could stay yellow and i'll remain blue
caught in a dream wishin that green would come true!
yes i do
i saw you there talking with red and he said orange you sad i was leaving with blue?
no no no no!
because i am your rock and you are my rock and when we rub we spark we spark
yes we do
but tomorrow will never feel like yesterday
and no morrow could ever feel like now
and we are green with no way out hopelessly
but we are forever now
we are forever now
ohhhh
we are forever now
