The Lost Ark Studio presents "Living in the Night" by Spero, the latest single from the Lost Ark Studio Compilation - Vol. 08. Enjoy!
Spero is four piece bluesy rock and roll band from San Diego, California formed in the summer of 2011. Although each member comes from a different musical background, from classically trained to self taught, they have managed to find a common ground, creating a new and original sound. Each member puts all their soul into the music and hope that they can bring some kind of feeling out in the people who hear it. They pull a lot of their inspirations from classic bands like The Band, Bob Dylan and Led Zeppelin and their sound has been compared to some artists such as Jack White, The Black Keys and more. With the release of their first full length “Rational Paths”, and new music on the way, they hope to spread their music as far as they can and continue to grow as a band creating raw, honest music.
lyrics
Living In The Night - Spero
We all feel it in the dark
Creaking boards and a shaky heart
You can’t see what’s in front of you
Whose that breathing down your neck, what's that creeping up behind you
Try to hide
And shake off the chills
But I won’t lie
I’m the one to fear
So tired in the day
Can’t sleep in the night
So much I want to say with the words I can’t find
It’s getting heavy on my bones
It’s getting dark around my eyes
Try to hide
And shake off the chills
But I won’t lie
I’m the one to fear
You hallucinate me
You hallucinate me
Try to hide
And shake off the chills
But I won’t lie
I’m the one to fear
I’m living in the night
I’m living in the night
I’m living in the night
