We are three like minds, 20 years old. Born of the stacked suburban boxes of southern California to write songs of the latter generation, we've journeyed.

We were weaned on Westerberg. We danced with Dylan. We spent the sleepless teen years staring at our eyelids with Al Green singing us sweetly in love.

And for nearly half a decade we have been forcing Dirty Projectors or Sonic Youth or the White Stripes into our mold.... and we always look to the music to be our giving mother and our guiding father, our toy and our gun. We've locked ourselves in hot rehearsal rooms, headlined shows in our garage for the neighborhood girls, toured dirty floors and shifty stages up and down the west.

We've breathed a lot in and we've taken a lot out and now we are ready to share.
